Now open: The Study Support Room

From Wednesday 1st July the Library will have a brand new room. Named “The Study Support Room” and located on Level 1 near the Help Desk, this space is for disabled and dyslexic students registered with Library Access Support who require the use of Dragon Naturally Speaking dictation software or who work with assistants who they need to speak to.
The room will also be used by Library staff to meet with students for Library access support skills sessions.

The Study Support Room PC has assistive software and the room has ergonomic furniture, a printer and a scanner.

If you are registered with Library Access Support and use Dragon Naturally Speaking or visit the library with an assistant, please contact us so we can enable your student card to operate the swipe-access door: library-disability@bbk.ac.uk, Tel: 020 7631 6491.

You may book the room for 2 hour sessions using MyPC, either via the Library Helpdesk library-help@bbk.ac.uk, Tel: 020 7631 6063 or you may make your own booking independently.
Please see the webpage for more information: http://www.bbk.ac.uk/lib/disability-support/assistive-technology-areas/study-support-room.
