Literature Online and MLA database workshop

There are now two places available on this workshop to be held this Saturday (2nd March) in the Library Seminar Room at 11.30am.

This workshop is an introduction to two of the most useful online resources for the study of literature, poetry, drama, language and linguistics. LION contains more than 350,000 works of English and American poetry, drama and prose, as well as criticism and reference resources. MLA is an index to books, book chapters and journal articles on literature, language and linguistics. The workshop will include some hand-on practice in using these resources, and will be led by the subject librarian for those areas, Charlotte Hobson.
