The library has taken out a subscription to a new database called Warc, formerly known as the World Advertising Research Centre, which should give you a better idea of what it is all about. Warc specialises in advertising, marketing and media communications.
There are over 25,000 articles, case studies, in-depth trend analysis, marketing strategy, marketing campaign videos and research reports to be found, coming from various sources including Warc's own publications: Admap, Market Leader,International Journal of Advertising, Journal of Advertising Research and International Journal of Market Research.
This database will appeal mainly to people researching advertising and marketing, but it also has information that may appeal to other social science researchers as it covers things like government and non-profit campaigns.
