From 20th June to 26th August for a period of 10 weeks there will be a team of people in the library putting RFID tags into books. The purpose of this is to make using the self-service machines easier for issuing and return.
The team will be moving from section to section in the Library and when they are working on a section of books, that section will not be available for use. If you need books from that section you will need to speak to staff at the Help Desk or Issue Desk who will retrieve the books for you . Unfortunately, you will not be able to browse along the shelves in a section where the team are working.
We hope to keep disruption to a minimum, but we apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.
